Privacy policy

Tushar Kalsara is an independent software developer based in Mumbai, India. For anything about your data, email hello@tusharkalsara.in.

When you send an inquiry through the contact form:

• Your name, email address and, if you choose, phone number, company and country.
• Details about your project, timeline and budget range.
• Technical context: the page you submitted from, campaign (UTM) parameters, referrer and approximate country.

If you accept analytics, I also collect anonymous usage data (pages visited, clicks, device type and approximate location) through Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity.

• To reply to your inquiry and prepare a proposal.
• To keep a record of inquiries and follow-ups.
• To understand which pages are useful and improve the site (only with your consent).

I don't use your information for advertising and I don't sell or rent it to anyone.

• Resend: sends the emails generated by the contact form.
• Google Workspace / Google Sheets: stores inquiry records.
• Cloudflare: DNS, email routing and Turnstile spam protection on the form.
• Vercel: hosts the website.
• Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity: usage analytics, only after you accept.

These providers may process data outside India under their own privacy terms and safeguards.

Analytics scripts load only after you click “Accept” on the consent notice. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set. You can change your choice any time with the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.

The site also stores your light/dark theme preference in your browser. This isn't used for tracking.

Inquiries are kept for up to 3 years so I can refer back to past conversations, unless you ask me to delete them sooner. Analytics data is kept according to each provider's retention settings (14 months for Google Analytics).

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and similar laws elsewhere (such as the GDPR), you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent. Email hello@tusharkalsara.in and I'll respond within 30 days.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date.
